Frequent Asked Questions
The U.S. Government estimates 90 days with daily use from sunrise to sunset, excluding harsh weather to replace American flags (this of course, depends on the flag material, wind conditions, etc.).
Flags flown 24/7 may wear out four times faster than those flown only during daylight hours. That’s why at Flag Fresh we are committed to ensure you can always fly or display your flag outside for all to see -and we will ensure your American flag is always looking fresh by servicing and replacing it every 6 to 9 months (based on your duration preference for flag service).
We take pride in servicing American flags -from removing your old flag to hanging your new flag. We make sure your flag is always looking fresh. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee -replacing your flag no matter the issue.
Our flags are made with high quality nylon, that will keep up with outdoor elements, with no fraying, tattering, or fading -or we will replace your flag before your selected 6 or 9 month service duration.
Yes! Our flags are made and produced in the USA. We have several manufactures in the USA to help us and our distributors keep up with demand (i.e. Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, South Carolina, Florida, and, Utah). All of our flags are heavy duty, suitable for outdoors, with embroidered stars, sewn stripes, and brass grommets.

Party of our service is to remove your old flag, and hang your new flag…If we remove your old flag we properly dispose, or donate to local organizations.
For instance, some of the organizations we work with are:
- American Legion
Many American Legion posts hold flag retirement ceremonies to dispose of unserviceable flags
-
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
VFW posts hold flag retirement ceremonies to dispose of unserviceable flags
- Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Local scouts hold flag retirement ceremonies to dispose of unserviceable flags
- United States Postal Service (USPS)
We drop off old or tattered flags at local post offices for the government to dispose of them properly
If you would like to cancel your American flag service, contact us at any time, and we will make sure we do not replace your flag again: info@freshflag.com or contact us from our online form, here.
